Since the Shriners founded their first Shriners hospital for children in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1922, their unique philanthropy has grown to an extraordinary health system with twenty-two facilities in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Shriners Hospitals for Children change lives every day through state-of-the-art pediatric specialty care, world-class research, and outstanding medical education. Our hospitals provide advanced care for children with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, cleft lip and palate.
Shriners Hospitals is a 501(c)3. All services are provided at no charge. The Oklahoma City Shriners provide transportation to and from hospital facilities for the children who need the care, and their families.
